Did you know...
No one goes into marriage planning a divorce...

• The ratio of marriages to divorces is 2 to 1
• 75% of all divorced people remarry, half of them within three years, and 50% of those remarriages end in divorce
• 43% of first marriages end within 15 years
• Couples who attend an extensive pre-marital training course have a divorce rate 50% lower than couples who do not
• Couples who were willing to seek counseling before and during their first three years of marriage were found to have less chance of divorce

We offer:

Relationship Builders is designed for couples who are engaged or in a serious relationship. Classes are offered three times per year and are required for couples who want to be married in our Chapel or by a Canyon View Pastor.

Marriage Mentoring:
This is a ministry to give couples perspective and wisdom through trying times in their marriage. Peer counseling is also available.

On-going - call 208.6348 to set up an appointment

Marriage Retreat:
Is an annual event each Fall where couples have the opportunity to travel out of town for a weekend of renewal, refreshment, and learning to better their marriage relationship.

Groups
These focus on marriage and how to better your relationship as husband and wife.

Groups are on-going. Contact Rhonda Huscusson at 245.5227 for group placement.

The Marriage Course:
An seven-week course for couples to share a date night together while they learn how to build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime.

The Marriage Course is offered two times per year.

Fall 2008: September 5^th- October 24^th (no class October 3^rd for the Marriage Retreat)

Spring 2009: January 16^th – March 6^th (No class February 13^th for the Valentines Day Dinner and Dance)

Couple's Events:
Several times per year, marriage ministry hosts fun events for couples to get out and meet other married couples,such as the Valentine's Dinner and Dance.
