Current Opportunities:

Various outreaches throughout the year – Each of our outreaches are “advertised” throughout the year. These are usually one-day events. Examples are: PBJs (help making peanut-butter and jelly lunches for high school students once a week for several weeks), Football outreach (distribute snacks and drinks at the three major high school “rivals” games), Thanksgiving dinner distribution to shut-ins, Parade of Lights Hot Chocolate give-away, Feed the Kids in the Park (on free swim Wednesdays during the summer), Feed the Homeless in the Park (every 2nd Sunday afternoon), Freedom Fest (our largest outreach of the year, on the 4th of July), etc.
Watch for “ads” in the bulletin and on the screen, and sign up at the Servant E table in the Atrium.

Servant E Table Assistants – Spend 15 minutes after the service you usually attend (once or twice a month), helping people sign-ups for various Servant E events.

Office Help - making phone calls and various other “duties” depending on what outreach we’re working on. Basic office skills would be handy but not absolutely necessary.

Event Kitchen Help – Be part of a fun group of people who take care of kitchen prep for various Servant E events. These are usually one-day commitments.

Coming Opportunities:

Feeding the Homeless - 2nd Sunday of the month, 2pm, Whitman Park
Serve the Homeless. We also provide worship music, a short message, and if weather is permitting we take a baptism tank. Call Vicki 248.4946 to volunteer.

Alpha, begins in September, 6pm
A delicious dinner is provided and after dinner, there is a short talk on a basic topic of Christianity, followed by a small group discussion time. It is a wonderful opportunity to bring friends who have expressed an interest in your faith. Susie 248.5943 or Vicki 248.5946
