We have a simple, straight forward approach to sharing God’s love in a practical way!
We seek to minister alongside God with discernment and openness, using the gifts He has given to His Church.
(1 Corinthians 12)
Whether handing out chilled water on a hot day, hot chocolate on a cold winter evening, passing out hot dogs to high school students or providing a church service for those in a struggling community; these small acts of kindness are designed to demonstrate God’s love to our community.
According to the Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies, in Mesa County alone there are 20,000 people who don't know where their next meal will come from.
We partner with several agencies to provide assistance to those hungry in our community.
Our outreach Team
church without walls
Join us at Kimwood Park or Solstice!
The outreach team of Canyon View, along with many amazing volunteers, hosts a few church services around the Valley so we can "reach the unreached".
Every Sunday morning there will be a service at Kimwood Park near 32 1/2 Road & D 1/2 Road. We meet at 11AM for worship, a message and fellowship. We distribute food boxes when possible.
At 9AM on Sunday mornings, we host a service at the Solstice Senior Living Center. There is also a 10AM Tuesday morning Bible Study at Solstice.
Ways To Help Serve the Community
We are shifting the way we communicate outreach volunteer opportunities.

Our intention with Free Grocery Sunday is to be a spontaneous experience. We have had several established food programs over the years, and this time we want to bring hope to unsuspecting people. We have had several amazing encounters by trying this new method. We are trying to reach other demographics that we would not otherwise reach. We will be moving to different locations every week. Our decision for location is last minute and is subject to change. We start giving away at noon and are normally out of food by 1 PM.

Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies and Canyon View Vineyard Church are partnering to host a Food Distribution on the second Monday of every month. The new location for this is Downtown Vineyard Church (DTV) and will begin serving food at 5 PM.
This mobile pantry gives families in need the opportunity to receive fresh produce, dairy, baked goods and non-perishable food items, among other items, at no cost.
Volunteer to carry food for the disabled and pray blessings over the families. We ask that volunteers arrive at DTV by 4:30 PM.

CVVC is one of the locations for The Emergency Food Assistance Program, a Federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income Americans by providing them with emergency food at no cost.
Mesa County residents who meet the eligibility guidelines that live in the outlying zip codes of 81520-81526 can receive food assistance on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 3-5PM.
