Remember the Suffering (War & Violence)

Followers of Jesus live in a violent world with wars, hate crimes, shootings, and oppression. Scripture doesn’t ignore this reality—it teaches us to name violence for what it is, lament it with honesty, and follow Jesus’ call to forgive, love enemies, and seek peace. This is not passivity; it’s courageous peacemaking rooted in the cross, where Jesus absorbed violence and prayed, “Father, forgive them.”
